Hello,
In 2003, I failed to pay toll booth charges many times throughout Collin County and Dallas County. Very Stupid. I eventually settled with the NTTA and paid them all agreed upon tolls and fees. Unfortunately several of the toll tickets were turned over to the JP and I was ultimately arrested in October of 2003. I had multiple Class C Misdemeanors stemming from essentially the same offense over a short period of time.
I have two questions. Will Class C Misdemeanors almost 7 years ago disqualify me for employment with the Mesquite PD?
I want to be completely accurate in my application and do not have all of the specific details regarding the charges and official disposition. How would I go about retrieving that information from the courts or LE? |

| Class C misdemeanors will not keep you from being considered for employment. Leaving information off of your application could be considered grounds for disqualification. You need to contact each of the agencies where charges may have been filed to obtain the necessary information. If you are not sure about something, provide as much information as possible. |
