| I have a DWLI charge on my record that was from March 1,2004, I had done 40 hours of community service, 1 year of probation, recieved deffered adjudication, and I have emailed TCLEOSE about it and there are many steps that I would have to go thru, I really would love to be a police officer, what would I need to do. |

| DWLI in 2004 was classified as a Class B Misdemeanor. TCLEOSE rules state that a person can not be hired for at least ten years from the date of conviction on a class B misdemeanor or higher charge. |
